This autumn, fans of The Hunger Games will have the chance to step beyond the screen and immerse themselves in The Hunger Games: The Capitol Experience – a new attraction inspired by the hotly tipped film.
Running from 30 October to 23 November 2026, The Atrium at Westfield London will be transformed into The Hunger Games: The Capitol Experience – an in-world immersive installation that brings to life the Capitol’s might and its carefully orchestrated display of power and propaganda.
At its heart is the unveiling of the Cornucopia from the 50th Hunger Games, a glittering spectacle designed to inspire awe and serve as a warning in equal measure. But look closer, and beneath this grand demonstration of control, rebellion is stirring. Suitable for fans and newcomers alike, the experience offers a unique opportunity to step into the heart of Panem ahead of the film’s UK cinema release on 20 November.
Featuring interactive installations, exclusive collectables and photo opportunities, as well as a special preview from the forthcoming movie, The Capitol Experience begins with guests receiving an official missive, before embarking on a journey through the Capitol’s vision of Panem, collecting stamps along the way to reveal a commemorative Cornucopia design created exclusively for Westfield London.
The journey culminates inside The Hex, where visitors will come face-to-face with the power and influence of The Capitol – where not everything is as it seems – before enjoying an exclusive preview from The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
Entry is free, with tickets available to book online in advance. A limited number of walk-in spaces may be available each day.
Ahead of the public opening, Westfield London will also host the star-studded UK Fan Screening Event for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping on Wednesday 28 October. The invite-only event (which will not be open to the public) will be attended by Joseph Zada, Mckenna Grace, Whitney Peak, Glenn Close, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin and Jesse Plemons, alongside the film’s director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson.
