It’s a red letter day as jewelry company Gabriel & Co. is marking a decade of partnership with DKMS, an international nonprofit focused on blood cancer and blood disorders.
The partners are marking their 10-year collaboration with donor drives, a new jewelry collection, and participation in the organization’s annual gala.
The company hosted an employee-only donor drive at its office on Oct. 13, where team members could register with DKMS as potential blood stem cell donors. It also launched a digital donor drive open to the public. Supporters can register online and receive a cheek swab kit by mail to complete at home.
“Giving back has always been at the heart of who we are as a company, and our partnership with DKMS has been one of the most meaningful parts of that journey,” said Dominick Gabriel, co-founder of Gabriel & Co. “Ten years ago, we began this partnership with the belief that we could use our platform to make a meaningful difference.
“Today, we’re proud to continue that commitment by encouraging our employees, customers and community to learn more, get involved and potentially help save a life.”

Gabriel & Co. notes that a blood stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor can be a critical treatment option for some people with blood cancer or other blood disorders. Because patients often depend on finding a match outside their family, expanding the donor registry can improve the chances of finding one, the company says.
Christine Gabriel, a representative of the Gabriel Love Foundation and Dominick Gabriel’s wife, said the cause is personal.
“DKMS will always hold a special place in my heart because I know firsthand what it means to need a match,” Gabriel said. “When I was diagnosed, finding a donor was a matter of life and hope for my family and me.
“I’ll never forget how my family, our company and DKMS came together during such a difficult time,” she recalled. “Ten years later, I’m incredibly proud that what began as a personal journey has grown into a lasting commitment to helping other families find hope.”
The Gabriel Love Foundation, established in 2016, supports causes that have a meaningful and positive impact on people’s lives.
Gabriel & Co. also took part in the DKMS Gala on Oct. 15. The black-tie event, marking the 20th anniversary of the organization’s New York gala, raised more than $2.3 million for DKMS’s global work, according to the company.
“Celebrating the 20th anniversary of our New York gala was a powerful reminder of how far compassion can go towards saving lives,” said Katharina Harf, global chairman of DKMS. “I am deeply grateful to the community that has stood beside us for two decades, turning hope into second chances at life. Together, we will keep fighting for a future in which every patient, everywhere, can receive the lifesaving treatment they need.”
Gabriel & Co. is also introducing a new DKMS jewelry collection to mark the anniversary. The company says the collection continues its tradition of making jewelry to raise awareness and support for causes, building on pieces linked to the Gabriel Love Foundation.
