Influencer fans and former contestant Jack Butler gathered for an evening of strategy, deception and gameplay to celebrate the launch of two new The Traitors games from Tomy.
Tomy brought the suspense and social deduction of The Traitors to life with an exclusive influencer event at Thornbury Castle on 1st October, celebrating the launch of two new games inspired by the hit global format.
The historic castle provided the setting for an immersive evening of gameplay, welcoming influencer fans, alongside special guest Jack Butler, a former contestant on the hit television show.
Guests put their skills to the test with The Traitors Board Game: Second Edition, featuring six brand-new missions, before coming together for a lavish dinner party and a game of One Night of The Traitors – Castle of Lies. Players took on the roles of Faithfuls and Traitors, completing high-energy missions around the castle, facing shocking reveals and outwitting one another, all leading to a dramatic final vote with the game’s unique convertible vote box.
The experience showcased how Tomy’s expanding games portfolio brings the intrigue, alliances and dramatic twists of the television phenomenon into players’ homes, offering fans new ways to experience the format with family and friends.
The event follows Tomy’s long-term licensing agreement with The Traitors rights holder Banijay Rights. The agreement supports the continued international expansion of Tomy’s The Traitors games portfolio, with the refreshed UK edition of The Traitors Board Game: Second Edition and new title One Night of The Traitors – Castle of Lies rolling out across multiple territories in EMEA and Australia, alongside further international expansion.
The second UK edition of The Traitors Board Game features six brand-new missions, challenging players to use strategy, bluffing and deduction to uncover the hidden Traitor, complete missions and claim victory.
Meanwhile, One Night of The Traitors – Castle of Lies is a standalone, fast-paced social deduction experience designed for an evening of plotting, deception and dramatic reveals.
