Magic Light Pictures has partnered with prestigious French fashion house Christian Dior to release an exclusive luxury capsule collection inspired by The Gruffalo.
Available worldwide across select Dior boutiques and at dior.com, the collection centres on Dior’s signature embroidered Book Totes, accompanied by men’s trainers, fine leather goods and couture charms.
The Gruffalo embroidered canvas bags join the select library of books on the iconic Dior Book Tote. Led by creative director, Jonathan Anderson, the Book Cover Collection is inspired by the joy of reading and features the cover designs of classic works of literature. Now The Gruffalo joins the library, with the new Gruffalo Book Tote celebrating the cover of the original edition of the much-loved story, first released in 1999.
The partnership with the world-famous luxury brand marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration for The Gruffalo, the timeless family favourite created by Dame Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
“We are honoured to partner with Dior on this special collection, placing The Gruffalo alongside some of the world’s most iconic works of literature,” commented Aidan Taylor-Gooby, licensing director at Magic Light Pictures. “This collaboration celebrates the power of great children’s storytelling, with creativity, wit and charm.”
