Volt Factor has been appointed exclusive global licensing agent for Motorsport Network, with plans to rev up the media company’s consumer good licensing program.

Volt Factor is a licensing agency with a difference, specalizing in developing creator intellectual property into consumer brands.

It has been tapped to lead Motorsport Network’s global licensing strategy, including securing licensing partners and expanding into apparel, fashion accessories, leather goods, collectibles, games, publishing, gifts and lifestyle products.

Volt Factor says the program will target established motorsports and automotive enthusiasts, as well as younger audiences discovering racing through new platforms and experiences.

Volt Factor CEO Elan Freedman.

Elan Freedman, co-founder and CEO of Volt Factor, says his team will be putting the pedal to the metal as they develop a specialized program for racing enthusiasts.

“Fans of F1, NASCAR and every other series and discipline have always been loyal to their own corner of racing, and car culture has its own communities on top of that,” Freedman said. “Motorsport Network is in the unique position of being the top-layer brand that brings all of those enthusiasts together.

“That’s a rare opportunity, because it means we’re not just licensing a logo,” Freedman added. “Motorsport Network gets to create and deliver racing culture itself, through products that speak to every kind of fan, from lifelong enthusiasts to a new generation coming into the sport.”

Motorsport Network reports more than 61 million monthly digital users and 21 million social media followers across 81 countries and 15 languages. Its portfolio includes Autosport, which was first published in August 1950, along with Motorsport.com, Motor1, InsideEVs, RideApart, Autosport Awards and Autosport Business Exchange.

The portfolio spans international racing, automotive news, electric vehicles, motorcycles, performance culture and the business of motorsports.

“With Autosport’s remarkable heritage and the depth of our global motorsport and automotive portfolio, we are excited to work with Volt Factor to bring fans closer to the brands they know and love,” said Michael Kane, senior vice president of business development for Motorsport Network.

Founded in 2026 by Freedman and Lindsay Hampton, Volt Factor provides operational support for creators seeking to commercialize their intellectual property through consumer products, content and brand partnerships. The company says its services combine creator strategy, brand development and licensing execution to build long-term commercial value.
