Brazilian footwear company Dilly Sports will design, manufacture, and distribute Reebok-branded children’s shoes in Brazil under a licensing agreement with Authentic Brands Group, the companies announced Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Dilly Sports will produce athletic, lifestyle, and sport-inspired footwear for children across the country. The companies described the deal as part of Reebok’s continued expansion across Latin America and said it strengthens the brand’s presence in one of the region’s largest footwear markets.

The collection will include sneakers, trainers, sandals, and football and basketball shoes. The companies said the line is designed to support active children and combines comfort, performance, and everyday style.

“Dilly Sports’ strong manufacturing capabilities and deep market expertise make them an ideal partner to grow Reebok’s kids footwear business in Brazil,” said Steve Robaire, executive vice president of Reebok at Authentic Brands Group, which owns the Reebok brand. “Their proven track record, established retail relationships and commitment to quality position us to bring thoughtfully designed products to Brazilian families while continuing to expand Reebok’s presence in this important market.”

Charles Dilly, a director at Dilly Sports, said the company is looking forward to the partnership.

“We are excited to partner with Reebok to introduce this new children’s collection,” Dilly said. “By combining Reebok’s globally recognized brand with our local manufacturing expertise and distribution network, we look forward to delivering products that resonate with families across the country.”

The first collection is expected to launch in Brazil ahead of Children’s Day on Oct. 12.

Dilly Sports operates three manufacturing facilities in Brazil focused on athletic and casual footwear, as well as a research and development center in Novo Hamburgo, in Rio Grande do Sul state. The company, which has more than 50 years of industry experience, serves retail and e-commerce partners nationwide. Its own brands include West Coast, Mormaii, and ÖUS, and it manufactures for global brands such as Puma, Oakley, Skechers, Reebok, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, ASICS, and Kappa.

Reebok, which traces its fitness heritage to 1895, operates in 80 countries and has approximately 400 freestanding stores worldwide.

Authentic Brands Group, a global brand and entertainment platform, owns and invests in intellectual property and cultural assets. It works with more than 1,700 licensees and strategic partners in 150 countries, and its brands generate more than $38 billion in annual systemwide sales.

Its portfolio of more than 50 brands includes Reebok, Champion, Sports Illustrated, GUESS, and Nautica, as well as the estates and likenesses of figures such as Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, and Marilyn Monroe.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
