EPISODES

Episode 1 – IN THE HOOSEGOW!

Our hero Albert the Wolf gets arrested… but it isn’t his fault at all. By chance, he just happens to look like the double of Fangoz, a terrible dog bandit wanted by all dog hunters in the entire nation. Unfortunately, his presence has been noted in the vicinity of the farm. Poor Albert is taken to the “maximum security kennel” called Algatraz, where the episode then becomes a humorous parody to the tune of “The Escape From Alcatraz.” Meanwhile, in his hideout at Algatraz, the real Fangoz finds out that an idiot who looks like him has been arrested in his place, in so ruining his tough-guy reputation. So, being less than eager to see his big name get spoiled, the dog bandit decides he'll see to his double's escape. Too bad he tries to get into the kennel on the same night that Moses the Sheepdog aids and abets Albert’s escape. A catastrophic chain reaction of mistaken identities, misunderstandings and devastating blows quickly ensues…

Episode 2 – IN SEARCH OF A ROCKSTAR

A mysterious individual comes to live in a villa not far from the farm. He is actually Mike Wood, the super-famous singer-guitarist from the band “Solid Garbage” who has retired to the country in search of peace, having inherited the villa from an old uncle of his.

The farm’s inhabitants notice Mike’s presence, and someone actually recognizes him for who he in fact is, but he is left in peace, surrounded by bodyguards. Only Henry the mole can get near the Rockstar; with his ability to burrow underground and then jump out at the wrong time in the wrong situation, each time trying to bust out a riff from one of his terrible compositions, equipped with his small electric guitar and crackly speakers. This occurs until Mike Wood finally runs away exasperated.

At this point however it is already too late, as poor Mike already has the stupid melody fixed in his head.

Episode 3 – THE CEMENT JUNGLE

Henry must go the city to oversee a few legal matters regarding the use of the soil under which he makes his lair. However, being afraid of the city and in need of two witnesses, he wants both a friend and a bodyguard to accompany him on his trip. He ultimately succeeds in convincing Albert (a.k.a. Beppe), and Moses to go with him, but they miss the last bus and will have to spend the entire night in the city… And it will be one night they never forget!

Episode 4 – GARGLE AND SCREAM

It is dawn at the McKenzie Farm, and everyone is sleeping contentedly. The rooster hurries toward the fence in preparation to sound the wakeup call, but gets cut off by a smooth and gentle voce. It happens to be Pavanotti, the rigid peacock with a robust voice. He is the new neighbor, training his voice in preparation for his next tournée. Of courteous demeanor, he immediately conquers the adornment of the females who group up near the fence asking him to continue, while the rest of the farm goes back to its daily occupations… But all of this will unleash Albert and Henry’s outmost jealousy.

Episode 5 – VOICECRACKS AND WHISPERS

All the animals of the McKenzie farm are preparing for a grand singing festival set to take place on the farm itself under the aegis of tenor Pavanotti who has just concluded his last tournée, already a real sensation for everyone. At first, the reactions of the various farm-dwellers during the rehearsal only provoke the sarcasm of Henry and Alberto, but this quickly becomes a real source of anger for them. On top of everything else, these two aren’t even invited to the grand event… The two partners then decide to wage war on their own turf with a grand strategy that will make them look ridiculous in front of everyone….

Episode 6 – BOOMERANG

Moses receives a package gift from a mysterious cousin who’d emigrated to Australia: a boomerang that will soon become the terror of both Albert the wolf, as well as the entire McKenzie farm.
Albert will attempt to parry the threat by setting a few traps, does succeed in getting possession of the item, but then has difficulty actually using it. Ultimately, the hellish gadget easily returns to the hand of its owner, who, meanwhile has picked up a baseball bat….

Episode 7 – THE SCARECROW

Constant nocturnal raids carried out by unknown suspects, presumably the crows from the hill, disrupt the grain harvest. Everyone’s favorite wolf is a bit hard up for cash, and so takes up Moses’ job: it will be he him in the flesh, posing as a scarecrow to pass his winter nights out in the open, eyes gaping wide, ready to blanket the threat of the crows.
Unfortunately for him, however, he’s not alone out there: at his side is the figure of a masked executioner, called forth for duty and ready to assist the champion of the McKenzie farm. The two each take short turns on lookout and set traps for the seemingly invisible crows… Until one night when they discover that Mr. McKravitz, the owner of the emporium, is caring out incursions from above in a hot air balloon, simulating the behavior of a crow and destroying the harvests of the local small farms in order to better-sell his own crops.

Episode 8 – THE CAMPER

Moses takes out a box of tempera colors, a palette, and a brush. Outfitted with an easel and canvas, he sets out to wander within the near vicinity of the neighborhood, crossing a little bridge running across the tiny stream of the McKenzie farm. He will spend the rest of the day relaxing, and decides he’ll pick up his old hobby again: painting.
So, while the dog prepares to enjoy himself, getting a little well-deserved rest, we find Albert and his hen a few kilometers away, taking a run by the big county-market to go to a small antique auction in the hopes of finding something of interest. An old school bus they see there brings back old memories for both of them, and the two decide to purchase it, outfitting it as a holiday camper. The negotiating isn’t difficult, but once purchased, Albert discovers that his beloved school bus is missing an engine… not to mention brakes. Albert and Martha find out they’ve been tricked, and this will be at the at the expense of Moses and his painting.

Episode 9 – THE GREAT ORSON

In fear of not having enough wood supplies for winter at the McKenzie farm, Moses puts together a small group of lumberjacks and marches toward the hill. He decides to cut down as many trees as possible, until his attention is drawn toward the most impressive tree in all the woods, namely the Great Orson, an immense sequoia symbolizing the entire forest.

Albert and Henry do everything possible to put an end to Moses’ plan however, until the Sheepdog comes across a stick of dynamite… it is then that an owl dwelling in the coveted sequoia, thoroughly exasperated by the raucous, will intervene. This fellow goes into action, seizing the explosive, and hurling it at the offenders. The dynamite winds up rolling toward a nearby dam, but then blows up air, spraying a ton of water over the valley, flooding it.

By the story’s end, the McKenzie farm, half-submerged, all the animals will retreat to the hill, their homes reconstructed on the branches of the Great Orson, the most robust tree in all the forest.

Episode 10 – MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas is already just around the corner, and just like every year, all the animals at the McKenzie farm are organizing a grand party for all the younger animals. Yet the goody-chest with all the letters addressed to Santa Claus is dramatically empty due to a terrible attack of the gout that has laid the turtle-postman flat on his shell, rendering him unable to take back the youngsters’ mail to Santa Claus. Without their letters, Moses and the gang won’t know to whom they must distribute the younger animals’ presents. Albert the Wolf dressed up as Santa Claus, accompanied by Henry standing in as a gnome, will set out to collect letters from everyone.

It is then after many mishaps, such as nearly getting run over by a truck which had lost some cargo as it swerved to avoid them, just as the clock is ready to strike 12, in the house of Moses where the animals have reconvened, that Santa and his gnome-helper (who are actually Albert and Henry) make their grand entrance, a bit roughed up, but seemingly jovial. And with them, aside from the youngsters’ letters which have arrived in their possession safe and sound, is a huge surprise: an enormous case stuffed with toys, which had fallen off the truck earlier.

The toys are new and beautiful, and will be in the hands of the young and eager McKenzie animals for some time.

Episode 11 – MOSES’ LUNCH

To slip into the McKenzie farm unnoticed, Albert will use a “gastro-aerial” tactic against Moses, leading him as far away as possible, laying around the farm delicacies of every kind, with a pre-arranged route that will lead them far away from Martha’s house. The trip, however, will cause Moses to have terrible indigestion that could prove fatal.
Albert, with the help of Henry the mole and one of his inventions that inflates, rather than deflates, Moses’ stomach, will try to undue the damage wrought by the mole’s contraption, by inserting himself inside Moses’ body.

In the end, Moses will reach colossal proportions, sitting in the center of the McKenzie farm (with a napkin around his neck made up of sheets stitched together), along with a host of animals that will shuttle back and forth between the dog and the pantry in order to feed him.

Episode 12 – TEARS OF THE CROCIDLE

A nasty surprise is waiting for Albert and all the animals of the McKenzie farm. In record time, Moses has constructed a deep moat surrounding the farm in order to keep the blue wolf at bay. A big wooden box then arrives at the farm with a label on which the name “FILIPPO” is written. The most dull-minded crocodile ever seen answers to the name, coming across as incredibly stupid, despite how ravenous and ferocious he would appear to be. Moses gives this fellow the duty of guarding the moat surrounding everyone, and Filippo scrupulously obeys.

Moses unleashes the crocodile unto the swampy moat, and he will serve as the blue wolf’s number one deterrent, but in the end, also for everyone else at the McKenzie farm… And only Albert can save them!
The dog offers precious compensation for Albert’s assistance, or rather the chance to see Martha whenever he wants. The blue wolf then discovers Filippo’s weak spot… a female crocodile that will save Moses by his very own grand strategy. But this won’t save Moses from the rage of Albert the wolf when Moses doesn’t keep his promise…

Episode 13 – PIE IN THE EYE

The pretext is a film festival organized by Kant in the granary. The pig had great projects, but because he’s short on funds, he can only rent an old projector with no sound and dusty reels for the series entitled “The Classics Of Good Humor.”

It is a peculiar comic, a sort of chain gag along the lines of a “young, romantic, beggar who wishes to conquer the heart of a sweet maiden, but is opposed by a more well-to-do man who bullies him around.” The poor bloke is… Albert the wolf, the sweet maiden is Martha, and the big, bad bully is naturally Moses with a big mustache. They are of course accompanied by all the other typical dim-witted film characters, such as the policeman, the businessman, the drunk, the masked thief in a stripped vest, the litigious couple, the friendly fat lady, etc., who are the inhabitants of the McKenzie Farm.

Episode 14 – THE PRICE OF SUCCESS

A mysterious individual wanders onto the vicinity of the farm. His name is Pelone, the renowned leading player from “Pelone The Bear With a Sweet Tooth,” an idol worshipped by both young and old.
Unfortunately, he isn’t very happy, having been trapped in the same role for too long, playing a character he doesn’t seem to like one bit or even resemble. So strong is his distaste, that he is driven to escape and take refuge nearby the McKenzie farm, his place of early childhood… Yet the peace doesn’t last very long, because his producer has a good hunch where to track down “his” star who, meanwhile, is violating a contractual commitment. To get him back, the producer dispatches a group of terrible Russian thugs specialized in retrieving missing people, better known as the Gulash bros.

Pelone finds refuge in the house of a rabbit family, where a young band of unrestrained bunnies let him know just how much they adore the adventures of “Pelone The Bear With The Sweet Tooth.” Rather touched, Pelone then spontaneously gives himself up to the producer

Episode 15 – A TICKET TO HAPPINESS

The first prize lottery ticket has purchased on the farm emporium. The thing is that no one knows just whose ticket it is, so an inquiry looking into the matter then gets underway involving a news crew. At first it would appear that Albert the wolf is the only one not involved in the mad search, until suddenly, convinced that he accidentally might have thrown the ticket away, he ends up looking through the farm dump to find it, at which point he then has a tragic, comical encounter with a gang of rats. After various ups and downs, the ticket is located, however it turns out to be the wrong one!
Finally the big surprise… In Henry the mole’s living room, while putting the contents of his chest of drawers in order, Esther asks: “Henry! Should we throw this out or what? What if it’s the winning ticket?” Henry replies: “Don’t be ridiculous! This is 1890 and the winner was 0681.” In the end, it would appear that Henry was one donut shy of a dozen since he’d read the ticket upside down before tossing it away!

Episode 16 – A CASE OF NERVES

Following a violent run in with Moses, in which Albert is dealt a heavy blow, the blue wolf lies still on the ground. The fact that some animals who have taken notice of Albert’s condition are growing concerned catches the worry of Moses as well. Terrorized by the idea of having committed an act he’ll never be able to undo, the dog plunges into a state of despair, breaking his club, and making a solemn promise that it will never be used for such a dastardly deed ever again. Yet Albert, meanwhile, has already regained consciousness, after having assisted the tear jerking scene done by Moses, decides to take advantage of his adversary’s good heart, but his strategy will backfire in the end.

Episode 17 – McKENZIE DAY

The McKenzie animals discover they must deal with an unimaginable problem: according to Glycerin, an invasion of alien geese that have just stepped off a spacecraft and formed a blockade, prostrating themselves in front of Joseph the goose, are chatting all at once so that their words are indiscernible. It is soon clear that the alien geese were mistaken for the aliens’ mythical ancestors, the first individuals of a race that later dispersed themselves among the stars.

Glycerin enjoyed having absolute power, while the aliens, who bear close semblance to her herself, go around the farm behaving partly like conquistadors, and partly like Japanese tourists. Glycerin, who is basically cherished and respected by her fellow alien geese, goes around the farm, aboard a flying stretcher, fidgeting with sophisticated instruments until she finally presses the wrong button… a move that will unleash the aliens’ utter fury.

Episode 18 – BLIND DATE

Albert and Martha’s intimate dinner is destined to end due to an unexpected clash between them and Moses. Fed up by the state of things, she sets out to find something that can keep Moses away from Albert, hopefully forever.
She arranges a date with a one of her friends named Agnes, a single (cocker spaniel) who is always in search of the perfect match.

After having given her last hints of advice and having told her friend how Moses, dressed in stitches and terribly shaken up, will have to go wait at the bus stop, Martha prepares to pass a calm, tranquil night in the company of her beloved Albert. And while the two approach a restaurant for a cherished dinner, Moses goes to meet his blind date… and after asking various pessimistic candidates, Moses gets a female dog to accept his dinner invitation, which is naturally set to take place her favorite spot. Unfortunately, it will be the same spot where Martha and Albert are

Moses has just received the notification for a selective exam conducted at a big farm where he’d presented a request to be hired as director of security some time ago. The problem is that, now, the sheepdog is no longer certain he wants the job anymore. In fact, the idea that he’ll have to subject himself to an exam utterly terrorizes him… so much, in fact, that the farm’s doctor confirms he’s got a case of “Canine Hysteria.” Ironically, it will be Albert himself who, with every mean in his disposal, trying to help Moses get through the crisis and find his inner-confidence needed to face the test… However, not long after Moses sets out, Albert discovers that, due to a snafu the postman had made, the letter forwarded to Moses was not for him, but rather for the caretaker of the neighboring farm. This lands Albert right back in trouble.

Episode 20 – THE HYENAS

Inside a large black car, three hyenas are eluding a police car. The thugs decide to shake them off by throwing their stolen loot from the car and it lands n a ditch near a fence…
Some time later, Martha, having returned from a commission of some sort, notices a package hidden between the shrubs, liberates it from the bushes and then heads home with it. However, it is actually being spied on by the Hyenas, who have come to take back their loot. A short while later they break into her house, steal it back, and because they realize that the hen “knows too much,” decide to kidnap her right in front of everyone. Albert and Moses will join up in order to order to track her down, until they find that Martha has basically converted the gangsters’ boss and discover that the mysterious loot that the thugs had parted ways with was none other than a precious framed picture of the their boss with his mother’s boss, stolen from the pound shop, where it had been given away a long time ago in order to buy the first machine gun.

Episode 21 – THE TRAIN TRACKS

Albert the wolf has just stamped a letter with a precious stamp that had been a birthday present for Martha’s cousin Einstein, a philatelic expert, whose birthday is the next day! The blue wolf tries to get the letter back, but arrives at the train station, but the train with the post wagon has already departed.
This drives him to make the extreme decision of jumping right on top of the train, as a stowaway. After a series of ups and downs, Albert recoups the envelope he’d sought and returns home, only to find that the stamp that has been used can loose 99 % of its collection value.

Episode 22 – GAME OVER

At the beginning, a nice adolescent animal of the farm convinces Albert the wolf and Henry the mole to try out his new virtual console, namely the videogame called Drastik Kombat.
So, Albert and Henry gear up with a helmet and a pair of VR gloves… They then find themselves navigating various levels with zombies, monsters, and ninjas, etc… The results are a bit ridiculous since their behavior isn’t typical of digital superheroes. The game ends with the last and most difficult stage, in which they face a monstrous giant who is none other than Moses himself! Moses tries to keep them from reaching their goal (and largely succeeds), their goal being a sweet little princess that closely resembles… Martha! Albert, like always, takes a beating from Moses, while Henry the mole seizes the opportunity in to complete the game…

Episode 23 – THE GREAT PUMPKIN

It’s Halloween night and the entire McKenzie farm is celebrating the craziest night of the year. Moses is particularly on guard, and will have the worst trouble from a couple of menacing thieves, made up of a cat and a fox (Gideon and Jasper respectively), wanted by the entire county. Meanwhile, Henry the mole, dressed as masked executioner rushes into a pumpkin patch, then stumbles into what appears to be a gigantic watermelon, more precisely the fabled pumpkin of Halloween night. The enormous, shiny pumpkin gives the masked-executioner the opportunity of his life to try out something he’d always wanted to do. And Henry, choking on his pride, decides to be a true superhero for just one night… Halloween night.
However, each true superhero must have an assistant, and Henry can’t seem to get his friend Beppe, (a.k.a. Albert the Wolf) to go along with his wish to team up in a no-holds-barred match against the cat and the fox.

Episode 24 – THE GOLDEN HEART

In order to help the most needy animals that live along the outer boundaries of the farm, the hens organize their “lunch for the poor,” during which the more fortunate animals offer generous meals to those who don’t get to eat every day. Through a raffle where a guest and a host are paired off, everyone will have to make a contribution to the great initiative. Moses, putt off by the indifference shown by the animals, decides to take the first step, choosing a ticket and counter offering that he will offer the poor guy not just a lunch, but an entire week at his or her house.
The first pick is an old friend of his: Albert the wolf. From this moment on, Moses will try to free himself of the wolf in every way possible.

Episode 25 – BROKE, ON VACATION

There’s nothing better than spending some quality time doing some outdoor camping during the most beautiful part of the season, and the McKenzie animals know this all too well. We rejoin Albert, Marth, Alice, and Glycerine in a clearing just beyond a deserted beach. Moses, who has put down his club for a while, out to take in some R & R, then accompanies them, looking forward to being able to take a break from it all. And yet, in the near proximity of a boy-scout camp, some little tapirs will transform the little outing into a nightmare: the total safeguard of the nature considered by the little tapirs will lead the McKenzie animals into a gradual path of destruction.
Not until after a long series of skirmishes will a final clash lead straight toward a grand finale without any winners, nor even a concise victory, but with only one clear result in the end: a ruined vacation.

Episode 26 – POPONE’S RUMBA

Ole’ Albert the wolf, caught by Moses the guard dog for the umpteenth time, prefers to negotiate the terms of his penalty: rather than suffer some heavy blows, he opts for doing community service. However, the encounter between TV and the country is destined for a fall when the animals become acquainted with the ever-popular Aldo, the host of the show, a rather scornful Hyena from the city who is interested in documenting the dastardly deeds of the ferocious wolf infesting the area. Notwithstanding, the McKenzie animals try to persuade him that not there isn’t any bad wolf on the premises, but the hyena will follow Albert the wolf like a shadow throughout the remainder of the episode, distorting the reality of his ways, trying to make him out in front of everyone to be some sort of wild beast… that is until Martha teaches the treacherous Aldo, his TV crew, and the free-roaming Moses a rather LOUD lesson, with a final surprise in the end…

Episode 28 – THE FEARLESS ONES

Longing to be the center of attention, Henry the mole sends a letter to the most popular TV show at the time called “The Fearless Ones,” asking to participate. The show itself features an extreme competition fought record after record and absurd undertakings carried out against the invincible host of the show, none other than Oliver Bloom, a rather athletic and charming cat. To everyone’s surprise, those tuned into the show come to find out that the show will be coming to the McKenzie farm where no one wants to expose himself so much on TV, except Albert the wolf, who, along with Henry the mole, will accept the cat’s challenge and win.

In the end, the wolf and the mole will in fact receive their nine zero winnings. Oliver Bloom, defeated but satisfied, does cut them a check, but the two will discover that they’ve been had: for the amount written on the check is exactly what the cat had promised the winners— nothing more than nine zeros, or more precisely, no money at all!!

Episode 29 – THE WILD WEST

Henry’s consort must leave the mole for half an hour to go see to some business, entrusting him with the kids. The mole would like to take care of this like adults often do indeed, so he places the youngsters in front of the TV, but there are no programs suitable for the target audience, and the household video library isn’t all that impressive. Thus, pressured by the young bunnies who seek to be entertained. Henry starts to recount a story set in the Wild West, where a lonely cowboy (Albert) and his faithful helper (himself) stumble into an farm town, oppressed by a cruel villain (Moses) who is imposing unjust taxes in exchange for “protection” and forcing the farms of the town to sell their parcels of land to him at ridiculously low prices. The town sheriff (Glycerin) is frightened, incompetent, and moreover, rather dimwitted. The mayor (Alice) is too cowardly to take action, enhancing Moses’ capacity as a villain.

The only one who takes a stand is the beautiful and cunning Martha, who, in her attempt to conquer Albert’s heart, convinces the blue cowboy to grab his pistols and deliver justice to the dastardly villain.

The visit of a county inspector disrupts the tranquil existence of Moses the sheepdog, for it is brought to light that he’s missing a rather important prerequisite to be the farm’s watchdog: a school diploma.

However, when all the residents of the farm go to vouch for Moses, the inspector offers the dog a way out of the mess: he will have to go to school for a week, and then take the test. He proceeds with Henry the Mole, this time dressed up as an air hero and asks Albert for help. In spite of their intervention, Moses will wind up at the bottom of a well, and their situation is not any better— in fact, the wolf and the mole will wind up taking flight à la Mary Poppins, attached to an umbrella given to Martha to keep her dry from the rain. The wolf doges the dog and his traps, then makes it to his hen with the idea of carrying her away on his head, but like a wet bar of soap, she slides right out of Alberto’s grip, thanks to having used too much body cream according to her. Martha Admits that she must have used too much cream however, because the body cream makes her quite slippery.
Moses then turns up unexpectedly, and the wolf takes to his heels, retreating to the hills with a great idea. Moses, who is leading the group’s investigation into the disappearing plant, then joins them with some discouraging news: after a quick reconnaissance mission which had turned up no plant, and quickly confirming that none of the animals on the farm had anything to do with the incident, the case is hastily closed, declared unsolvable.
